JALAUN, UTTAR PRADESH | October 30, 2026: On 29th October 2026, an organized clandestine drug manufacturing plant producing mephedrone was found and seized at Jalaun district, Uttar Pradesh, India, which significantly contributed to prepared manufacturing and transportation of synthetic drugs. The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) and Uttar Pradesh AntiTerrorist Squad (ATS) reportedly recovered around 1,102.88 kgs of drugs, semi-processed mephedrone, precursor chemical and equipment that can be used to produce this drug.
