India Helps Nepal in their difficult time
Nepal is going through a very difficult phase after heavy floods and landslides caused destruction in many areas. Many Families have lost their homes, loved ones and the roads have been damaged and many people are still waiting for help. Rescue teams are working to reach the affected communities.
At this difficult time, India takes their first step to support Nepal. India has sent more than 130 tonnes of relief material to the country through special Indian Air Force flights for the rescue of the villagers. The supplies include essential items and equipment needed during rescue and relief work.
India has also sent a team of 54 experts to Nepal. These include rescue workers, medical professionals and forensic experts. They are helping local authorities with rescue operations, medical assistance and the identification of victims.
One important part of India’s support is helping families find their missing loved ones. Indian forensic experts are assisting Nepal with DNA testing and other identification work. This kind of help for all families to get answers during a very painful period.
India is also helping Nepal thinking that the recovery comes after the immediate emergency given by them. There is also a school that is damaged by the floods is expected to be rebuilt at a safer location. This will help children return to their studies and learn without any fear once the situation becomes stable and reliable.
