India’s private telecommunications companies, vendors, startups, researchers, and academia have come together under the banner of the Bharat 6G Alliance.
With a membership of 90 as of July 2026, the alliance has seven working groups that will tackle numerous aspects of 6G. The working groups will focus on air interface and spectrum, technology vision, application and terminal ecosystem, sustainability, use cases and scenarios, and revenue beyond 5G.
