Adani Energy Solutions Secures Major Transmission Project
I just saw that Adani Energy Solutions has won a ₹4,700 crore transmission project in Maharashtra. This new project will help move energy and stored power across the whole region.
Adani Energy Solutions won this project by using the Tariff Based Competitive Bidding process. Adani Energy Solutions was the bidder when the bidding process took place.
Project Will Support 4,500 MW Power
The Adani Energy Solutions project is going to help move up to 4,500 MW of storage power. This work will make the power network in Maharashtra much stronger. Help the state use more clean energy.
The project will carry power from Karnataka to the big load centres in Maharashtra. The project will also help the pumped storage projects near Satara, Pune and Mumbai.
Major Transmission Infrastructure Planned
Adani Energy Solutions is going to build a 765/400 kV substation at Satara. The company will also build a 765 kV double-circuit transmission line.
This project will make the Kolhapur pooling station stronger. Make power transmission in the area much better. Adani Energy Solutions will add 562 circuit kilometres of transmission lines to the network.
The project will also add 9,000 MVA of transformation capacity. Adani Energy Solutions plans to finish the project in 36 months.
Boost for Renewable Energy Infrastructure
